The Observer-Reporter and The Almanac welcome wedding and engagement announcements with accompanying photographs, and will publish them as soon as space permits.

In addition to being published Sundays in the Observer-Reporter and Wednesdays in The Almanac, all weddings and engagements are published on the newspapers’ respective websites, www.observer-reporter.com and www.thealmanac.net.

Color photographs are preferred, but black-and-white photographs are accepted. Color photographs are published online and converted to black and white for the print editions.

To publish your wedding or engagement in the Observer-Reporter, visit the O-R website, click on Lifestyles, then Submit Announcements. Select the appropriate announcement form. Or, call the Lifestyles Department, 724-222-2200, extension 2403.

Cost for weddings is $60; engagments are $45 with a photo and $35 without a photo. None will be published until payment is received.

To publish your wedding or engagement in The Almanac, visit the newspaper’s website, click on Community, then Submit Announcements. Select the appropriate form. Or, call Allison Duratz at 724-949-1202, extension 147.

A flat fee of $55 applies to both weddings and engagements, and neither will be published until payment is received.

Online submissions are encouraged. Photos submitted by mail will be returned only if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included.
