Ezarik – Baker wedding
Though Breanne Ezarik, 29, and Bryan Baker, 30, met briefly in middle school during a dance, they didn’t actually begin dating until they were in pharmacy school at Duquesne University.
The picture perfect couple – they won the Observer-Reporter’s Wedding Photo Contest! – got engaged during a sunset dinner on the beach in Kauai, Hawaii. Note: they only other person on the beach at the time was Britney Spears, who was dining in the canopy next to them.
They opted to hold their ceremony and reception at Oak Lodge in Stahlstown, and with a May date, they knew that rain could potentially foil their plans for an outdoor event – but they were certainly surprised when it snowed the night before the big day.
”We had to go plan B and have the reception inside,” Breanne says.
Regardless, it was a beautiful weekend – the vintage lodge was all theirs.
Their favorite part of the wedding day? “Being able to spend the day with family and friends, and also having our puppy, Beau, with us to celebrate,” Breanne says.
Following a honeymoon in Bora Bora where they stayed in those picturesque over-water bungalows, they built a home in Morgantown, W.Va., where they are both pharmacists – her at the CVS Pharmacy inside Target, and him at Walgreens.
