South Fayette Community Day, presented by Dollar Bank, is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 24 at Fairview Park, 129 Greenwood Drive.

The event features free admission, activities and entertainment. Food and drink concessions will be available, with beer sales available to adults ages 21 and older.

This year, participants have the chance to win an Apple Watch in a social media photo scavenger hunt using Facebook and Instagram with #SFCommunityDay. Other new features for 2019:

  • Polka and swing dancing lessons;
  • Dance performances;
  • 50/50 raffle drawings;
  • Ninja Warrior Ultimate Challenge Course;
  • Topgolf hitting net.

Booths hosted by businesses and community organizations, plus three stages of live music and shows will be available. Residents can also take in a reptile show, magician, zipline, inflatable and mechanical games, a petting zoo, basket raffle, balloon and henna artists, face painting and more.

Amenities include an ATM and shade areas. Dogs are not permitted in the park on event day.

Accessible parking is available. General parking is limited inside Fairview Park. Golf cart shuttles are available to transport passengers to the event area.

Shuttle bus transportation is available at the following locations, with the first pickup at 10:30 a.m.:

  • Star City (parking lot of former cinema), 100 Hickory Grade Road;
  • Kiddie Academy South Fayette,3169 Washington Pike;
  • Zion Lutheran Church,3197 Washington Pike.

Appearing on the event’s Main Stage, presented by Dollar Bank:

  • Opening ceremony and national anthem, 11 to 11:15 a.m.;
  • River City Brass Quintet featuring guest artist and South Fayette; resident Abhijeet Joshi(Hollywood & Bollywood Show), 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
  • Hewlett Anderson with Joe Waslousky, featuring South Fayette resident Pete Hewlett, 1:30 to 3 p.m.;
  • Jumpin’ Jack Flash(Rolling Stones tribute), featuring South Fayette graduate Anthony DeLuca, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

  • South Fayette Township High School Select Choir, 11 to 11:20 a.m.;
  • Princess songs with Audrey Logan, 11:30 a.m. to noon;
  • Magic show with David Lawrence, 12:15 to 1 p.m.;
  • Reptile show by Mike the Balloon Guy & Co., 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.;
  • Steelesque Acoustic Duo, 3 to 4 p.m.;
